ARLO Communal is a creative agency built on the power of shared experience. Cal Fernie and Tobi Fox founded ARLO in Sydney in 2020, and it is now based in New York City, driven by a love of dining, storytelling and communal experinces designed with care.

ARLO brings together culture, hospitality and creative production to make experiences with a distinct point of view. We work with communities, like-minded brands and cultural partners on projects that feel considered and engaging, and that come from genuine connection.

Our work has taken us around the world. We’ve popped up in the Moroccan desert, on the shores of Ortigia in Sicily, on the slopes of Mount Etna, and in Athens, Mallorca, Florence, the Bahamas and Mexico City, as well as across Australia and the US. Everywhere we’ve gone, we’ve found that food and human connection speak a universal language, and that is the language we work in. At its core, ARLO is an ongoing exploration of how people come together: around a table, through a shared idea, or within an experience designed to be remembered.
